As a regular Claridges wedding photographer, I often have the pleasure of working in one of London’s most iconic hotels. Brittany and Mark live in the USA where they met, although Mark is English and Brittany’s is half-english too. So it was an easy decision to bring over their friends and family to celebrate in London, and the weekend couldn’t have been more fun to shoot.
We started with a drinks party the night before in the heart of St James Park, and then Brittany had a stunning suite at Claridges to get ready in, with her bridesmaids. The ceremony was decorated in beautiful flowers and candles and after a brief drinks reception everyone boarded some Routemaster buses for a tour of some of London’s landmarks before ending up at the Banqueting Hall of Whitehall Palace.
The night was filled with laughter and love, and finished by a sparkler exit and a horse-drawn carriage ride back to their hotel on a warm summer’s evening in London. Perfect!
